New Pulser Tasks is here

Check-ins and tasks,
at the speed of your team.

Eliminate meeting fatigue and lost follow-ups. Pulser runs your async check-ins and tracks your team's tasks directly inside Slack, and connects the two: your standup drafts itself from your tasks, and blockers become tasks in one click.

No more context switching

Keep your team in their flow. Members submit updates and move tasks forward exactly where they work, without opening another tab or tool.

Transparent Progress

Instantly identify blockers before they become delays. Clear, beautiful summaries ensure everyone is on the same page.

Built for Scale

Whether you are a team of five or five hundred, Pulser scales with your organization's growth effortlessly.

Check-ins

Async check-ins, on everyone's own schedule.

Run standups, retros, mood checks or your own custom check-ins, each with its own questions, participants and schedule.

Standups, retros, mood and more

Start from a ready-made set of questions or write your own, and choose who takes part.

Each person's own timezone

Check-ins arrive at each participant's local time, so distributed teams can answer during their own day.

Reminders, only when needed

Only people who haven't answered yet get a reminder. Everyone else is left alone.

A daily digest in your channel

Who has checked in, who hasn't, today's blockers and what the team's tasks did, in one summary posted to your channel.

Holidays and time off, respected

No prompts on holidays or while someone is away. Set your time off right in Slack with /pulser ooo.

Check-in consistency

Managers see how consistently each person checks in, counting only the days they were available, right in /pulser team.

New: Pulser Tasks

Tasks, right where the work is discussed.

Create, assign and track tasks without leaving Slack. Every task gets a live card that stays in sync everywhere it appears.

Type it the way you'd say it

/pulser task @someone Send the Q3 invoice by friday !high

Mentions become assignees

Mention one person or several.

Plain words set the due date

today, tomorrow, by fri or due:2026-10-02.

Flags set the priority

!urgent, !high or !low.

Prefer a form? Run /pulser task on its own, or use the New task shortcut from anywhere in Slack.

Turn any message into a task

Open a message's ··· menu and choose Convert to task. The form is prefilled from the message, and the task card is posted in its thread with a link back to the original.

A live card that stays in sync

Start, Done, Blocked (with a reason), Unblock and Reopen, plus Edit, Cancel and Nudge. Every copy of the card, in the channel and in assignees' DMs, updates together.

Assign, date and prioritize

Assign one or more people, set a due date and priority, and add an optional S, M or L size when effort matters.

Everything on your App Home

My tasks, grouped into Overdue, Due today, Upcoming and No date. Plus Assigned by me, a Team view for managers, and filters for open or done and by channel.

Knows who's out

Assign a task to someone who is out of office before it's due, and Pulser warns you right away.

Private stays private

Tasks created in private channels or DMs are private. Their titles never appear in managers' views, digests or standup drafts; they only count toward the numbers.

Tasks + check-ins

Your standup mostly writes itself.

Tasks and check-ins live in one place, so each one feeds the other. No copying updates from one tool into another.

  1. 1

    Work your tasks

Start, finish and flag blockers from the task card as you go.

  2. 2

Your standup is drafted for you

"Done" lists the tasks you closed since your last update, "today" lists what's in progress or due today, and "blockers" lists your blocked tasks. Edit or remove anything before you submit.

  3. 3

    Blockers become tasks

The daily digest shows what the team's tasks did since the last digest, and any blocker in it becomes a task with one click.

Performance insights

Fair performance, not a leaderboard.

Pulser knows who was on leave and which days were holidays, so time off never looks like low output. There's deliberately no single score and no ranking: people are listed by name.

  • Tasks closed
  • Closed per week, per available day: holidays and time off excluded
  • On-time rate
  • Median time to close
  • Reopened tasks
  • Open and overdue load right now
  • Check-in consistency
  • 8-week trends

Who sees what

Managers see everyone's scorecard. Members see their own numbers.

Where it shows up

/pulser team in Slack, a weekly report DM for managers, and an optional weekly post to a channel.

Calm follow-up

One briefing a day, not a stream of pings.

Every weekday, at each person's local morning, Pulser sends a single DM with what needs their attention.

  • Everything in one place: overdue, due today and tomorrow, blocked and in progress, plus "waiting on others": overdue tasks you assigned.

  • Respectful by default: skips holidays and your time off, stays silent when there's nothing to say, and anyone can opt out.

  • A nudge when you need one: instead of automatic nagging on every task, send a manual 👋 Nudge from the task, at most once a day per task.

Privacy by design

Private conversations stay private.

A task created in a private channel or DM stays in that conversation. Pulser never shows its title in managers' views, digests or standup drafts; it only counts toward the numbers. Standup drafts use team-visible tasks only, and you can edit them before you submit. Pulser Tasks works with the same Slack permissions Pulser already uses.

Add Pulser to your Slack workspace and run your team's check-ins and tasks in one calm loop.
